It is with great sadness that we announce the death this morning of Agnes, the beloved wife of Adrian Lee, after falling ill with a brain hemorrhage. They lived in The Little Rectory in Whilton and Agnes was visiting her mother in Wigan early on Saturday morning when she fell ill. On being taken to Salford Royal Infirmary, it was found that she had 2 major bleeds on the brain and it was not possible to operate. Adrian and Agnes went through the organ transplant process, but Agnes unfortunately died this morning on Monday 1 June 2026.
Adrian and Agnes had just celebrated 40 years of a wonderful happy and successful marriage with a trip to their house in France and then to Paris, and were blessed with their daughters Emily and Charlotte, and Adrian says that we are all so lucky to have many happy memories of Agnes, who was an amazing woman and a gift from God.
